Very happy. Room 513 exactly as rooms pictured on web. Did not have to provide a credit card to hotel since prepaid. Was very very close to Termini, easy to find and reach on foot. Great breakfast, very appreciated since meals in Rome are very expensive. Room faced street and there was street noise but level acceptable especially with window closed. Individual room heat controls. Window opened. Used internet store by Termini for web access fine. Learned cheapest lunch & dinner options right near hotel are inside the Termini itself. Neighborhood a little scary at night, but hotel itself seemed very upscale and safe. Lot of homeless in area, and we witnessed a purse snatching at a cafe about 3 blocks away from hotel. Tried to see roof view from sister hotel Mediterrano but seemed to be not permitted to access without sitting & ordering something expensive. Nice large bathroom with tub & shower, stool & bidet & hairdryer. Always found English speaking staff. Wake up call service reliable. Metro, taxis, city buses, and airport train all very close, easy to find. Opera house close. We would very likely stay here again if ever return to Rome. Experienced confusion over bus trip to Pompeii, Greenline parked in front of hotel to load, we got on, but then learned our trip-booked on Grayline, was really on an Appain bus, we had to get off the Greenline and walk a block to the Grayline office to get on the right bus. Learned hard way that some bus trip vendors subcontract with a local company, hard for the conceirge to figure out what company.

First of all the hotel is in a good location. Very near Termini Station and within walking distance of several sights in Rome, such as the Colusuem, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough and bathroom and room were very clean. There is access to the connecting hotel, where there is a fitness center that quests can use, also a rooftop restaurant. The wonderful breakfast buffet we enjoyed every morning was between the two hotels. The breakfast area was very clean, organized and staffed very well, with excellent service. The only thing I would recommend not to do, is have the hotel do any laundry for you. Very, very expensive!!!!! Our stay at this hotel was from April 18 to April 23, 2009. We would stay again.

Hotel is in a great location if you plan to use Rome's buses, metro or trains. We actually walked about 1/2 block to our hotel when we got off the train from the airport. The front desk gentlemen were very nice and helpful and spoke english very well. When we asked for extra pillows and towels they were brought within in a very short period of time. The breakfast buffet was also very good. My only complaint is that the beds were not very comfortable at all, however when the rest of my family checked in a couple days later, & their beds were much better. So I am sure if we would have mentioned it, they would have switched our room but we never did.

I truly enjoyed my visit to the Bettoja Atlantico. As a female on a solo trip, I wanted a place where I felt safe and I certainly did at the BA. The staff was friendly and helpful. Albert at the front desk was an absolute ROCK STAR! He helped me get my day excursion changed and was otherwise very professional and friendly (whatever his salary is I'm sure he deserves a great bonus!!)! The room was very clean and promptly restocked each day. The mattress was quite firm... some may say hard - in the other reviews... but when in Rome! Enjoy the differences and see how the other half lives/sleeps. I slept wonderfully. My room was on the 6th floor and offered a great view of the street and Termini station. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel as the traffic could be noisy. Breakfast was great and offered a good number of choices - cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, yogurt, rolls, lots of coffee/espresso from a nifty little machine, and so forth. It was also VERY conveniently located next to the Termini station - just a short five minute walk from the train arriving from the airport. The metro and buses are also at Termini. There were several internet cafes near by as well. Overall, an amazing trip I won't soon forget... and will visit again!
